LAUNCHES STRATEGIC PLANNING INITIATIVE
Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp, Inc. is entering into a strategic planning process which will clarify its vision and mission for the next several decades.
This world is changing and campers’ needs are following suit. While the Gospel message remains the same, the "vehicles" used to deliver the message (including outdoor ministry) have been experiencing significant changes. This strategic planning process will enable us to take inventory of where we have been, where we are, and ultimately -- where we want to go. Our passion is to provide cutting-edge, relevant outdoor ministries to children, youth and families. Excellent outdoor ministries never drift into excellence; excellence is always the result of the Holy Spirit working through purposeful planning and action.
"Stakeholders" (all who have an interest in the future of this ministry) in Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp, Inc are invited to attend one of the four planning sessions.

Each of these events will include discussion on all four of our sites (Ox, Luther Dell, Wilderness and WAPO) and will include a complimentary meal and snacks. We have hired the consulting services of Blair Anderson of Kairos and Associates, St. Paul, MN. He will be leading us through a process of:
- Strategic Listening (what are the stories and traditions of each of the four camps?)
- Taking inventory of our celebrations...our strengths
- Taking inventory of our concerns...those things which will keep us from moving forward
- Taking inventory of our hopes, dreams and aspirations... help cast visions for future opportunities for children, youth, singles, adults, and seniors through effective camping ministries
- Identifying 7-9 strategic initiatives which will serve as "trajectories" for the writing of a strategic plan for WAPO CAMPING MINISTRIES
