4th Annual Broomball Tournament

Greetings from Wapo! Are you ready for some Broomball?!!

Wapo's fourth annual broomball tournament will take place on February 20th, 2010.

The first match times will be at 8:00 am and continue throughout the duration of the day. Every team is guaranteed at least two games and possibly more depending upon the number of teams. The teams need to consist of 5 people per team, and if teams would like to bring extra for substitutes that is welcomed. Teams can be all male, all female or co-ed teams.

There will be two divisions - A and B - Division A being for the more experienced teams. There is an entry fee of $125.00 per team. This is a fund raiser, so all money raised will go towards camperships for this coming summer. There will be concessions sold throughout the day with a warming house available.

Grab your friends, relatives, or anyone that would be willing to come. If you have never played broomball before, don't let that be an issue. Broomball is easy to learn and the event is about getting exercise, enjoying the environment, and raising money for kids.

We would like to know if you are planning on having a team by February 10th. Please print off the rules and registration form available. Registrations are accepted any time prior to the tournament and will also be accepted before game play starts at 8:00 am on the 20th.
