Directions
DIRECTIONS FROM DULUTH:
Follow Hwy. 61 north to Grand Marais.
Turn left onto The Gunflint Trail (Cook County Rd. 12). This turn is just before you enter downtown Grand Marais.
Take the Trail north for about an hour.
Large wooden signs along the road will tell you how many miles to the Base (marked as "Wilderness PYC"). The WCB entrance is on the left side of the road.
