Volunteers
Volunteering is free.
- Working from breakfast to lunch (min of 3 hours) covers your costs for those two meals.
- Working from lunch to dinner (min of 3 hours) covers your costs for those two meals.
- Working both morning and afternoon covers all your meal and lodging costs for the day.
The times of the day you are retreating and not volunteering your costs will be based on the Retreat meal and lodging rates below.
Your meal and lodging on the night you arrive are free and your departing meal is also free.

Retreat season dates:

Camp is closed from April 4 – April 29 and November 1 – January 3
We can not accept reservations during staff training from May 22 – June 9

Staff Family/Friends
Rates apply for short-term guests (1 week or less). Staff working in the calendar year for Wilderness Canoe Base can use equipment at no charge for personal trips. Food is assessed below.
