Children, Family & Youth Ministers Retreat
You don't need a doctor's note. You are being excused from your everyday routine by God's Grace and Wildernesss Canoe Base. Take some time to relax, re-energize, and re-group this winter. Wilderness is offering a FREE retreat for Children, Family & Youth Ministers from February 28 - March 7, 2010. We will provide hot meals, plenty of wood for the fireplace, warm cabins & hot cocoa. If you'd like to get outside and enjoy winter in the Northwoods, we will have snowshoes and cross country skis available for you to use. A traditional Finnish sauna will also be an option for those willing to brave the chilly weather! Come enjoy a good book, great conversation, or just some long sought after solitude time. Feel free to bring materials to work on some continuing education, or a novel to indulge in some personal time. This is the perfect opportunity to take some time to reconnect with yourself and your God. This is our thank you to you for your faithful commitment to the youngest in the Kingdom of God.
You are welcome to come at anytime throughout the week and stay for as many or as few days as you'd like. We also invite you to bring immediate family members along for the week. Please RSVP with the days you would like to attend by January 15th.
