Collection of Personal Information
Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp, Inc (LWLBC) collects your personal information when you register for a program, make a donation, or otherwise voluntarily provide such information. If you contact LWLBC, we may keep a record of that correspondence. If you submit a camp application or registration materials, or an application for employment, we will keep those documents on file for at least 7 years.
We will use your information to process enrollment requests, orders and donations, to provide you with information about LWLBC programs and services we believe will be of interest to you, and to ask for your support.
Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp, Inc. does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide information from our database to third parties except for the following limited circumstances; when complying with legal process, preventing imminent harm, or ensuring the safety and security of our campers, facilities, and programs. This includes confidential medical information that complies with federal statutes.
E-Commerce
Users may have to give credit card information to LWLBC in order to make a donation on-line, or to register for programs, or to purchase merchandise. Though LWLBC does collect personal information such as name and mailing address, it does not store credit card information. Every time a user wishes to conduct a business transaction with LWLBC, the user will have to enter their credit card information. If users choose to sign up for recurring donations, the payment gateway (authorize.net) will initiate a process whereby users give permission for authorize.net to store their credit card information.
Refunds
Deposits for summer programs and retreats are non-refundable and non transferable, as stated in the summer brochure or group contract.
Refunds for merchandise must be made 30 days from purchase.
No refunds are granted for financial donations to Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp, Inc.
